The tannins are full and give very good length to the fruit. Due to the three years of maturation the wine exhibits added complexity as the fruit and tannins have softended and combined with the oak vanillan and chariness.AgeingThe wine can be aged for a further five years for those with an interest in the wine as it adopts some earthy bottle aged characters as earlier vintages have done. However it is recommended that the wine be consumed within the first two years for maximum enjoyment of the rich flavours.
